j c higgins
i have a jc higgins 16ga pump shotgun with built in adjustable choke that was handed down from my grandfather to my father then to me, i even have the original papers on it. i was wonder who made the gun and is it worth anything?

Probably made for Sears by High Standard.
Value is whatever a 16 ga pump is selling for, which is not high. There is no collector's market in J.C. Higgins or other store brands that I know of. |

If you will post all the markings on your shot gun some one can tell you who made it. What you are looking for is a Sears stock. It should look like this 000.000. with this 3 to 6 digit number a cross refernce can be used for ID.
