Browning Light Twelve

I need some help trying to figure out what year this shotgun was made. I have a Browning Light Twelve Shotgun that belonged to my Great Grandfather. It has either a 1G or a 10 on top then under that 64254. I did not see any explination for that serial number on Brownings website.
Thanks
