Not as numb as you think Sea Buck.

We were planning on going North of the Reality rd and hunt around the Mesquacooks, but we figured we could get our limit south of the Golden Rd. and save a 160 mile round trip.

No slight intended. I lived in the Asland area until economics drove me South. My roadie gun is a .410 and 20 ga 1100 Special field for the brush. The Musquacook area used to be very good. There's an expiramental forest area there that used to hold large numbers of birds. Probably cut off now.Today they take everything. Hope you enjoyed those birds. Go get some more!!

We didn't go far enough north to have em stand in the middle of the road, that's next week when we go to Spider Lake.

Ashland is a tough place to make a living without the mill, and a .410 is a great road gun if your a half descent shot. Help keeps the breasts pellet free.
