load amount

I have some 9mm 124 grain jhp from hornady. And i have winchester action pistol powder. none of my load books tell me this combo so i do not know how much powder to load these with. I had some 115 grain and i loaded them with 5.3 grains. anyone know what grains i should use?

I also don't see WAP on the Winchester powder site, so it has apparently been discontinued. That will make your task harder. It's burning rate is about like that of Alliant Unique, but QuickLOAD has Unique loads about 10% smaller by weight. That means, if you find a Unique load for your bullet, that may be a good starting load level for your WAP? However, these comparisons are not bullet proof, so I would take a maximum load of Unique and knock it down yet another 10%, substitute the WAP and work up from there, watching for pressure signs?

I've read that WAP is the same powder as Ramshot's Silhouette.
