Alliant 2400 in .45 ACP, again?

IF NO powder is available except an Alliant powder 2400 for reloading .45 ACPs (185 gr jacketed hollowpoint bullets); how much powder do I need? This is for a survival point of view.

I'll give no advice except that 2400 is twice as slow as the recommended powders for the ACP and routinely listed for heavy revolver loads. I use it in 44 Special and Mag loads with good results. I would search for 45acp loads with 2400.

Maybe you need to pick another powder- one that is a little more versatile.....
..... Power Pistol will work for both .45 ACP and .357 ......
