Kick-eeze Recoil Pad

I recently bought the kick eeze recoil pad for my remington 700.
The stock is synthetic.
The instructions say to use the same screws that came with the standard remington pad.

After I screwed them in, the kick eeze pad isnt tight at all. It moves around easily.

I was just wondering what is the solution to this problem?
I noticed that the stock pad, goes into the stock, so it kind of locks in place and then you screw it in.

The kick eeze doesn't go inside the stock, so it just moves around lol

Anyone have any clue how to fix this?
maybe I am doing something wrong. IDK...

Curious problem. Either you need shorter screws or butt plate shims.

You could glue it in place using bedding compound, put a coating of wax on everything except the back of the pad, creating a "lip" inside the hollow stock that will keep it from moving around. Also, check to make sure your mounting screws are not too long or you won't be able to tighten the pad up all the way.
