Wheelchair Training
Does anyone know of Firearms Training for someone in a wheelchair preferably in the central Virginia area? I am new to CC and would like to get some practical "Tactical" training.

I don't personally. If HeroHog happens to still be around here somewhere he might have some good advice as he is wheelchair bound as well and CCs.

Pinetree Tactical
207-827-3718 P.O. Box 478 Bradley, ME. 04411 [email protected] Mike Freeze (sp? pronunciation is good though) has developed a few lesson plans specifically for people who use wheelchairs. He's in Maine, not VA, but perhaps he can share some of his material with you. Don't know if he'll charge for it or not. Or just come up to Maine for the summer and do it in person.

I know this guy travels around, and he's helped people in wheelchairs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ovWNuhwhDU It's the only example I could find, and it's not the *best* example, but I'm sure you catch my drift. |

One of the assistant instructors at Rangemaster in Memphis uses a wheelchair. I'd suggest calling Tom Givens, director at Rangemaster, and ask him for advice. He travels often, and may be headed through your neck of the woods sometime this year.

I don't know if this shooter offers training, but he might have some insights as to persons to contact.
