Which gun should i buy?
i'm new to the fourum and I've been to a couple of gun stores to buy and ive set my eyes on a used ruger mark iii hunter ( that has a 4.5 in barrel) for $300 and a new ruger mark iii hunter 6.88in barrel for $500. there is also a $400 buckmark udk stainless, but i cant decide on one and was wondering on which one was the best deal, best price and overall best gun

i would go with the used ruger. the shorter barrel size still shoots great.

Assuming that the Buckmark is new, I would go with that one. The price is reasonable, though maybe not the best. Very nice and reliable. Also, much easier to take down...and reassemble...than the Mark III's.

I've had the Browning stainless Camper model which is nice, but now I have the Hunter model. Another guy I know has jams with his Ruger while I do not have any trouble at all with my pistol. So just based on what I see, I'd suggest the BuckMark.

Go with the Buck Mark. You won't be sorry. Friend has the Mark III hunter and it jamms all the time. The trigger isn't near as good as mine.
