Running hopper empty on LNL AP
I quit with about a inch to go. Has anybody ran till it was empty? Will it keep throwing the same weight?

I've inadvertently run the hopper down below the baffle on my Dillon without harm.
I did check the loads with a scale just to be sure, and nothing changed. One would think that the weight of powder in a full hopper would compress what is at the bottom, and have some effect, but guess not. The measure must not care. I've done the same thing on a Lee measure, the rotating cylinder type, on purpose to check, with the same results.

Enough of being a smart*ss. Sorry, couldn't resist. But, seriously, you have all the resources right in front of you to answer your own question. Then you will know how YOUR powder measure on YOUR press reacts to low hopper levels with YOU operating the handle. |

I don't know what "LNL" and "AP" mean, but I know that I've ran an experiment with my RCBS Uniflow. I took it to the point where the powder (I think I used HS-6 for this experiment) was down below the green transparent and into the tapered part, and it was still throwing accurately.
Good enough for me.

I have the LNL AP set up with LNL Powder throw.
My experience has been that the powder charge is less accurate when the powder level gets to the top of the baffle.
