338 RUM loads

I've got a stainless 700 BDL in 338 ultra mag and i've been trying to find some good loads using the 250 grain sierra gameking, preferably with RL-25. Does anybody have any info on this?

My buddy has a chirstiansin arms 338 RUM. I am working up loads for him using IMR 7828 with 250gr swift A-frames and 250gr hornadys (lots cheeper) for punching holes in paper.Got back from the range and 87gr IMR 7828 worked good for his gun. AS for your question the nosler manual 6 page 501 they say starting load for 250gr bullet is 87.0gr reloader 25 and max is 91.0gr RL25 they also state RL 25 was most accurate powder tested out of 7 powders. Hope this helps!

RL-25 with Norma MRP-2 data

you can also make a try using the internet-data for Norma´s MRP-2 (norma-data-site), but begin with the starting-load, because MRP-2 seems a little-bit slower burning than RL-25........
