New Rafter belt-awesome
Got my new Rafter belt today. Beautiful piece of equipment. $50. Should last me along time. I got the black cowhide. Supports my .45 and my 9mm better than any belt I've ever owned. Steve and Della were a pleasure to deal with. Mark me down as one happy camper.

Egggggsellent! I've been looking for a good gunbelt for quite some time now. (Currently using the thickest Calvin Klein I could find - it's actually not too bad, and only $24 at Ross.)

First of all, I'l state that I have a financial interest here, so if this is considered advertising, then I apologise..
Having got that out of the way... Which way do you guys wear a belt? I mean, which side does the buckle go? It might seem like a strange question but let me explain. I've sold a couple of these on ebay, but my manufacturer is confused about which way it ought to fit. before ordering any more I'd like to get it right. A regular belt can be worn either way, but this one has a top and a bottom edge, so must be the correct way. I guess it's only important if the buckle is changed. I have one, and my buckle attatches to the right side, so the tail of the belt points to my right. The one in the picture is the opposite way. I don't know if it's a UK/US difference (I'm British), but as my customers are all US based, I want to get it right. So, does the picture look the right way round to you guys? That's the opposite way to how I wear a belt, but I might be wrong... |

It took mine about 5 days from time of order as they had my size in stock. Best thing is to email or call them to see what's available in stock or to see if they have to make it up for you. Might save you some stress on waiting for it. Nortonics, Nice pics!

Thank's or the reply
Krang:
Thank's for the reply I ordered a Brummeland belt last year and waited over 12 weeks. I really like what I see at Rafters. And plan on giving them my next belt order. |

Left or right buckle
Generally in the U.S.:
Mens pants - Button on the right & button hole on the left. Belt before fastening = Buckle on the left, hole end on the right. Womens belts for dress slacks are the opposite. Womens jeans are the same as mens. If you are making them to order you should find out male/female if the woman wants the belt for dress slacks. If the womans pants are jeans or uniform pants they are generally made like mens except for the hip contour. I also don't think most womens dress slacks would accomodate a wide belt, but changing fashions might alter that. If you are making them for EBAY you should state buckle on the .... side. |

I'm not exactly making to order, but I could if asked. I guess for ebay I'll make them buckle on the left, like you sugest, if that's the normal way. Thanks. (btw, $30, incl shipping...) |

My Rafter S belt is my favorite. It would be a fine deal at twice the price.
