Just got my Simply Rugged Holster!

I've tried it on, and already I can feel that it makes my 4.2" .44 Redhawk feel lighter than it is, as opposed to my old shoulder rig that made it feel heavier.

I tried it IWB, and ammazingly it is comfortable!

I'm a happy camper! (literally, it is my woods gun)

Thanks to those who gave me recommendations.

I love my Simply Rugged and feel they are an awesome deal for the money.

If I were the betting type....

... I'd put down BIIIG money on the fact that I was the only dog-walker wondering the streets of my neighbourhood tonight with a CCW Ruger Redhawk in .44 Mag!!

My woods gun it may be, but after toying with the idea of an OWB holster and then waiting 6 weeks for it to arrive, I decided not to wait for spring before trying it out.

Despite having the IWB belt hoops I went for OWB as winter affords me the luxury of bulky clothing, and in the woods, I will probably stick to that and just wear a baggy shirt over my t-shirt in warmer weather to remain discreet.

Anyway, what a difference!!
Wearing my RH in a shoulder holster and both my shoulders would be sore from the straps rubbing and I'd be quite "uncomfortable" due to the fact that the rig had to be so tight that they'd pull my trouser waist-line up to my chin.
You can only imagine how that is not very ergonomic.

Not so with the Simply Rugged.
Yes, my belt was tight but not uncomfortably so, and the big ol' Ruger just sat there.
After an hour of walking the parks and backstreets, I can safely say I was barely aware of it sitting on my hip!!

Brilliant!

Even happier!
