House with an Indoor Range

If any of you happen to have $18.5M laying around and a desire to live near the Colorado ski resorts, it looks like a pretty nice place.

I can't believe that they wasted all that good money on a bowling alley and pool when they could have had a bigger shooting range. Some people........

23,000 square feet of living area and only a four car garage, and a skinny little shooting range?
Shows where the owner's priorities aren't.
I'll spend my 18 million elsewhere, thank you.

This is the Boberg residence, Tim Boberg and his wife, Roxanne Pullitzer, had a price tag of nearly 20 million on it several months back.
I set the steel and logs on this addition.

I'll pass..... 1st. It snows there and I grew up it western NY ski country and escaped in 2000. Trust me its better to drive to the snow then live in it. I can be in the snow in about an hours drive if i want to play in it but I dont have to live in it. 2nd for 18.5 million I'd expect a lot better of a range than that.

Hmmm. Three guesses as to why a gun designer might be moving out of Colorado...

Nope. Too much to heat for this poor boy and besides, it has a golf course. What a waste of a riflerange.

I imagine an indoor range could be built for substantially less minus the other amenities like the 23,000 square feet of living space

I made mine alot cheaper. When I want to shoot indoors I bring a very large log in and place in my hall. I can only get about 12 yards though. Of course I have to do this when the wife is in town.

A lot of wasted space, with such a tiny gun range as an afterthought.

Western New York's "snow" is quite different than snow in the Rockies. The difference in humidity levels results in very different snow conditions, and substantially different living and driving conditions.

Too many bedrooms and too many bathrooms. I do like the bowling alley. I would have spent more money on the shooting range and added a skating rink.

Agreed, there is no comparison to east and west. I lived in Colorado for several years, and saw a lot less snow down in the Denver area than in the northeast U.S. Now go up into the foothills, and mountains out west, different story, but is a dryer, more comfortable climate.

Yeah, the range needs to have more than that narrow one lane.

Any house with a basement could have a gun range in it. Just put some exhaust fans in the windows and you're pretty much good to go

Snow is snow no matter if its "dry", " wet" or light, heavy its still cold and have to plow or move it off the driveway and paths and again its COLD AND WET...

Didnt say you cant have fun in it, but would rather drive an hour to be in it than have it in my yard.
