A Taurus Model 605 5 shot .357 with a 2" barrel. I use a full magnum load and keep it hidden on the seat beside me while driving or tucked away under my shirt when out and about. It stays close to me at home.

In my thunderwear holster is a $135.00 FEG PA-63 9mm mak. Goes bang everytime (and pretty accurately for no more experience than I have) I don't know what all the talk was about recoil & bad grips etc. It's small, light, I don't have to "baby" it, inexpensive, I like it! Sorta feel bad about my 1911, except for occasional trips to the range it gets pretty lonely in my night stand. Now that I think about it, I think I'll give it a big hug when I get home.

Either:
1.) SIG P220 or
2.) Glock 21 or
3.) Glock 30 or
4.) Kimber TLE II

Loaded with:
1.) Cor-Bon 185g. +P HP (in the chamber) and
2.) Glaser Safety Slugs (silver nose) in mag #1 (in the gun) and
3.) Cor-Bon 185g. +P HP in mags #2 and 3 (back-up mags).

I hope to God I never have to shoot an attacker(s) but if I do, I intend to survive the encounter.
