Northern California(SF Bay Area/sacramento) roll call
Please post if you live, or just go to the range in my area(Oakland).
I normally go to the San Leandro Optimist range, but i'm looking for clubs to join, and just other ranges to go to. Thanks |

I live in TX now but I used to live in the East Bay, Livermore has a outdoor range you might like. I dunno I could be patial but Livermore people just seem a lot more laid back than a lot of the other surrounding citys, anyhow. just take 580 and exit N. Livermore, go under the freeway and into the country, make a right on Hartford ave. and turn left on dagnino it will be on your Right. Don't worry it's not out in the booneys too far, maybe 7 miles from 580 at best. Then when your done shooting go down N. Livermore, make a Right on portola ave. and Eat and or Drink at the Rock House. Used to be a old cowboy joint but now it's a sports bar with 50,000 TV's. Get your drinks from Billy and tip good!
-Have fun!

The Chabot range listed above is my favorite--the prettiest in the area.

If you make it down to san jose, Reed's is a good indoor and Metcalf is a great outdoor!

Just went to Chabots today. Liked it so much I joined the club. Nice people, beautiful place and deers were prancing around, meaning the shooters there are VERY restrained
It reminded me of the De Laveaga range in Santa Cruz county before it got shut down by the environmentalists. A nice twisty drive to a place that I felt welcome. |

Vacation???? Wha's that? Something other than salaried work and the honey-do list?
