1. Your cartridge sucks because;

2. My cartridge is inherently superior because;
(_) I shoot it
(_) you don't

3. Cartridge X is a poor choice for hunting because;
(_) bullet selection for handloaders is poor
(_) factory fodder is too mild
(_) no one cartridge can do all that
(_) it couldn't stop a charging maskrat
(_) it destroys too much meat
(_) its been over-hyped in the gun media

4. Cartridge X is no good for dangerous game since;
(_) double rifles aren't chambered for it
(_) ammo is no longer stocked for it
(_) Capstick used it
(_) Capstick didn't use it

5. The proper uses for cartridge X are;
(_) wounding groundhogs and possums
(_) anything between blacktail and elephant
(_) nothing over 75 yards
(_) anything up to 500 yards with a good field rest

6. Cartridge X is a good/bad brush load because;
(_) it can drop an oak tree and still bring home dinner
(_) it breaks up on impact with a mosquito
(_) its killed more deer and elk than all other cartridges combined
(_) its wounded more deer and elk than all other cartridges combined

7. Caliber X is vastly superior to caliber Y because;
(_) no gun in caliber Y ever shot well
(_) metric calibers are the work of the Devil

(_) I once saw a deer run over 10 yards after being hit with a Y
(_) X has 12.3 ft-lb more energy at 400 yards

8. You should not even consider cartridge X for the following reasons;
(_) it has been in use so long it must be obsolete
(_) it is so new you can't trust it
(_) Elmer Keith liked it
(_) Elmer Keith hated it
(_) Jack O'Conner was rumored to have shot one once
(_) barrel life will be less than 200 rounds
(_) velocities that low are only for potato guns and buffalo chips

9. Cartridge X is {fill in the blank} for all North American game;
(_) totally inadequate except in the hands of an expert
(_) ridiculously overpowered and a sign of mental instability
(_) OK, if that's all you can handle
