I have become a MS Trainer for the Enhnaced Pistol Permit

HB506 is a bill signed into Law that allows CCW holders in MS to take a training class to enhance their Permit. It is supposed to allow CCW holders the right to carry in almost any area, if they have the minimum of a NRA Basic Pistol Course.

I have signed up as an Instructor approved by the State of Mississippi. When I asked for approval, I had to drive to Jackson and be issued a firearms permit. I have never felt the need to have a firearms permit but I was forced to get one. I think it is strange that the Department of Public Safety would require this of me before approval as a MS State Approved NRA Instructor.
