Bomar Sight Question

I have a question regarding this sight, actually ,technically not a bomar sight but the Les Baer adjustable sight (which is basically the same thing.) My question is two-fold: one, how, if its at all possible, do you remove the actual sight (the flat plate with the sight notch that slides in the unit) from the entire sight unit? The reason why I want to do this brings me to my next question... I want to swap out the sight with rear sights of different widths to find which one I like the best. I obviously don't want to go out and buy 3 or four different bomar sight units but I'd like to get just the sights themselves . My second question is do they make just the sights and if so do they come in different widths?

okay 3 questions...sorry

sight

Sir:
As I remember the bo-mar you unscrew the elevation screw, then raise the top assembly - there will be one or two anchoring set screws you loosten, two springs you need to get hold of and then simply drive the sight base out of the dovetail.
Yes, I think the bo-mar cut will accept other sights of like order.
