Shot a number of guns. Only notable points were:
1. Accuracy of the NAA 5-shot mini-revolver is absolutely pathetic. Only 4 out of 5 on the target at 2 yards on avg., and get this: Only 1-2 out of 5 on the target at THREE yards. Hmmm, I think I'd rather have pepper spray or throwing knife at 3 yards. If it's a "gut gun" only, I would definitely rather have a knife. May have wasted my money on this one. Fun though. That little sucker jumps in the hand, too (in .22lr). 2. Couple in the next lane were cowboy action shooters. Got me kinda interested; said it's a kick in the pants. Let me shoot his Ruger Vaquero Bisley (I think) with .44 Spl. loads. 3. I'm sick and tired of breathing the lead/powder fumes in the indoor range - hardly any ventilation at all. Also tired of 30 yards as the longest range. I can't wait to be accepted by the local private club. 4. Mini-14 with a forward-mounted red dot was a hoot. If penetration were no worry, this has got to be about the best defensive config around. |

Futo - The NAA is usually more accurate than that... Oh well - It isnt an HK.
The Mini 14 should do you very well using .223 Hollow Point ammo. Penetration is not a concern with those. - less than a 9mm. ------------------ "There is no limit to stupidity.
