Left handed Winchester 52B
I have a Winchester 52B that has had the bolt converted to left hand. When I purchased it the scope and bases had been removed. I wish to put target style receiver sights on it. I purchased a Lyman 90 MJT,(not very happy with it) but I am unable to locate a base. Does anyone know where to find one? Or a good receiver sight that doesn't extend past the bolt throw?

Evening Woodstock,
Try the following :
www.championschoice.com or www.championsshooterssupply.com Also try Williams Gunsight as they made some target bases for the Marlin 2000 . Consider making a thicker base to offset the attachment out and position it further forward to avoid the bolt. Post some pictures It SOUND interesting. |

Here are the photos.... I have spent several hours digging on Williams web site to no avail, even though Lyman says that Williams makes the base. Thanks for the leads.... I will check them out.

Still no luck...
Thanks for the help so far....but it has dead ended on me also. I imagine that I will have to build or modify a base to make this thing work. I am just hoping to find a base with the contour and receiver holes to start with, even if it doesn't match the MJT 90. I know that I will have to drill and tap anything that I do find.
