Offer him less, the worst that can happen is he says, "No."
If you don't try to negotiate, you'll always wonder if you paid too much. |

thanks zip ....
i aimed on doing just that , offering about 3 bills.
however , i know the add ons , such as the folding stock and pistol grip DO add $ spent on the bottom line . around here , from what i have priced i the last couple of months , the $350 might not be too far out of line if the gun is in really good condition. what i am basically asking is does the price sound like i am not being held up if i have to pay the full asking amount AND ! is this talo model somewhat rare ? ! |

Typically, extras add only a small percentage of their original price to the value of the gun. The seller may be better off returning the gun to its original condition and parting-out the extras.

I bought a Remington factory Tactical 870 a few years ago. Knox stock, pistol grip, olive drab paint. If I remember correctly it was $495.00. Hope this helps in your decision making.

Just to add my 2 cents worth. I think $350 is a fair price for this set up as is - but only if the accessories included are ones you want.
If the advertised or asking price is $350 I suspect the seller would take $25-$50 less. Regards, Rob

I would also want the original stock in case you decide the cheap BC folding pistol stock is not what you want
