Finishing my Saiga .308 project.
I'm almost at the final phase of the Saiga(AK) .308 project that I have been working on forever. The pistol grip is in place, along with all compliance parts and a new FCG(thanks to dinzagarms.com). Now I am working out the cosmetics of the gun. Should I go the tacticool route and put a rail system on in place of the hand guard? Should I go with a wood buttstock and handguard or plastics Kalashinikov originals? Folding or fixed buttstock? And finally paint scheme, urban camo, black, grey, black/green/grey camo? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Pictures will follow when I figure out how to get them on this website.

Well if your in NY you won't be doing the folding or collapsing stock from what I know...
If you are outside of NY and allowed to have them, then I would avoid the tapco folder (just because it's a .308) the Tapco T6 is alright. Other than that I would go either with a Kvar fixed stock or ACE folder if you have the cash. |

I'll be moving to AZ soon, so I am not worried about the folding legality issues, it wont be until I am out there.
