left handed semi-autos

Hi guys,
I've been reading for awhile and decided to ask a question. Well my little brother is a lefty and this last year he was shooting my old 870, but i kinda feel bad when he shoots and the shells hit him, and he really likes my a-5, but has the same problem. so my question is does any one make a good semi-auto for a lefty, and we have looked at benellis and he likes them, but i dont want him to make a decision by looking at one gun. oh and by the way he is a big kid (5'9'' about 165) so a fullsize gun wont be an issue
thanks
Nate

and i guess i should mention that im willing to spend up to about $2000

Check out Jaquas web site and see what you find.Click on the Gun Room link and look around. And you might want to think about an over and under for him too.

As a lefty, I never minded getting hit with the spent shells, but, let me tell you, they tend to be HOT if they hit your arm and stick in the crook of your elbow...

There are left handed options out there, but I have never seen a left handed shotgun. I really feel that shooting a right handed one doesn't create any issues. You get used to the casings flying across your line of vision and the spent casings hitting your arm are no big deal.

The only issue I've ever had being a lefty is using bolt action rifles. I hunted for years with a right handed bolt and eventually bought a left handed Savage. A left handed bolt is the difference between night and day.

Go to the Remington website. They are making the G3 semi in left hand for 2008.

Thanks guys,
I'm looking for a new gun for him because, well i want mine back. And since I'm going to basic soon i decided we'd start looking now since when i get back I'll have some money burning a hole in my pocket. So i thought I'd get him something nice, and whats better than a new gun (dont tell my girlfriend I said that) but i'll have him look at the ones listed thanks
