1800's pistol ivory grips, custom case, silver flask? What is it?

Can anyone be of assistance, comparables or even estimated value guess with possible history info of the maker?

THanks so much!

Single shot cap and ball derringer. A nice one at that.

A very nice gun, but are there any markings on the gun showing the maker or possibly the original owner? The general type is common and they were usually quite inexpensive guns, so a cased one with accessories is unusual.

Good quality photos of the sides and top of the gun would help, as would photos or descriptions of any markings on the flask and mould.

Hello, What you have is refered to as a "screw-barrel"..note there is no loading rod present. The T handled tool mates with splines in muzzle, for unscrewing of barrel.
These pistols were comparitively higher powered than a regular patched round-ball gun..as an oversized ball was used which sealed the bore & gave higher velocity.

It should be worth at least $1500-$2K, with the French-fitted case & accessories.
