Henry Golden Boy & Uberti Silverboy .22's

Picked up a Uberti Silverboy .22 on Sunday at Gander Mountain.

Here is a picture of it along side of a Henry Golden Boy.

I like the Weaver scope mount for the drilled and tapped receiver, the cartridge is carefully controlled so you can even load upside down. The rake of the stock is less than the Golden Boy.

I'm not going to throw away my Henry, it's a little smoother and has a better rear sight. Both guns are nice and have a place in my safe.

Congrats on a really nice pair of leverguns! I have a GB and would be interested in hearing how that Silverboy shoots in comparison. Besides the fact that I'm a .22 levergun addict, I especially like that the SB has the controlled feed like the 9422.

Yes, I have a Winchester 9422 and it will always be my number one Lever .22.

I'm on a mission to collect straight stock .22 exposed hammer (Cowboy) type lever actions.

It will take a while but I also need a Marlin "Mountie," Browning BL22 and a few more Henry models.

Here's my 9422 with the Golden Boy. Love these Lever Actions.

As for shooting them, Florida has recently passed a law that prohibits shooting ranges on private property. I think it means in village limits but I need to check with the local police before I do any more shooting at the barn so I don't have some cop show up to confiscate my gun.

Here's a picture of the Weaver style scope mount with an inexpensive Simmons 4 x 32 scope in Millett mounts on the Uberti Silverboy .22.

Dang it happened again. I was wandering what my next purchase should be. Collect 22LR lever actions. Love my Golden Boy, I bought a Big Boy 30-30 this spring to go with the 94AE. Mmmm did I see the Rossi at my LGS?

I organized my photobucket and these pictures went away from the above posts. Just wanted to put them back in.
