Info on Mossberg .22 LR
I've got a Mossberg Model 142-A .22-S-LR.
It does not have a serial number on it, which according to mossbergcollectors.org means it was manufactured sometime between 1930-68. The front of the stock appears to have been a fold-down that I will assume acted as a sort of monopod (it is no longer there). Is there some way I can narrow down the year of manufacture? Where could I look to find replacement parts for the stock? Any other information you could provide would be greatly appreciated! This is one of my favorite rifles and I'd like to have a bit more info on it. Thanks! Devin |

Had a 152 that I was cleaning for an elderly aunt. Took some time to run down info.
If you go to Mossbergs website you should find a link to some people that handle info and parts on older Mossbergs. Would give you what I have but it was packed up and I don't have access at this time. |
