Just got my rings in and..
I decided to order my Badger Ordnance M40A3 rings off the
net due to the lack of tactical gear my local shops offer. They just came in the mail last night in the mail and I open the box and come to find out they came in shiny black and not matte.... Is there any way I can turn these into matte or is that a certain type of metal/material?? Or sand them down and repaint them in a matte color?? I just don't like it because all my set up is flat black and the rings stick out like a soar thumb...

I would go through the drill of returning them for an exchange before I messed them up. If they don't have the matt in stock maybe just return? How about those Burris XTR rings? They are tough, cool, & not hard to get.
