Big Loud Fun with 7.62 NATO

The SCAR 17 by FN is an amazing rifle. I can't get enough of it! Good thing I've been stockpiling 7.62 ammo.

Anyone else use one? Shoot one? What do you think?

Here's the video:

Around the 5 minute mark there is a guy shooting a SCAR the way you shouldn't shoot a SCAR. If he keeps that up the rifle will show him what he is doing wrong.

Great rifles. I got an awesome deal on a 16s. Wish I could get such a deal on a 17 but all I have seen 'round here are over $3000.

Correct, if you don't know what you are doing, rifles can be kind of "ouchy" in general.

Roommate has one, great all-around rifle. They're a lot of fun with a suppressor, too.

Yea, but a little thinking and that isn't a problem.

Also, the new SCARs will not have a reciprocating charging handle.
