Shooters vest?
Been thinking about picking one to use when I shoot my higher caliber firearms since I'm a little guy. I don't know anything about them about though.
Which are usually the best to buy? I am not looking to drop a huge chunk of change on one. |

Take a look around at gun shows. I picked up a nice one for about $35. Sure, its a no-name knock-off, but it works.
Its mess, has shell holders on the left side, big pockets for even more ammo, and a padded shoulder pad. Others may have some insight to where to look here online. |

I wear mostly a Colombia brand. Plenty of pockets and long enough to cover my sidearm. Kind of a nondescript khaki color.
One of the vests I have has ballistic panels in it! |

Not down for vests, I find that vests mess with my shoulder in terms of getting a good mount with the gun. If anything I would check out the shooting shirts they have that have with the padded lining sewn into em.
Good luck
