I need to get a new case cleaner--what I have
is too small and too slow.Besides doing my own cases I also have to do my son's and since he reloads for a security company and various other shooters, the cleaner has it's freckle hanging out most of the time. What is the fastest and the best? All advice appreciated. |

Lyman make a big one. I can't remember the model but its commonly refered to as "The Pumpkin". I have one and love it.

Along these same lines, how many .45acp or 9mm can the Lyman 1200 handle? Also, is it normal for the media to "hump up" on one side of the bowl while it is running? I have to put a piece of 1/2" plywood under one side of mine to keep the corn in. Thanks,

I've got the Flo-Thru 1200 bowl on mine, which cuts down case capacity by about 50 or so, but I can put 250 in with out the lid. Maybe another 50 if I use the lid.
My media has a tendency to flow to one side also. I always thought it was just my machine... Joe ------------------ Go NRA |

Try a 1292 from Midway. Very nice machine. I also have a Lyman.

I talked to a brass processor at the local gun show who said he has tried every brand of tumbler made and now only uses Dillons. he has actually worn holes in three bowls - sends them back to Dillon who replaces the bowls at no charge. Talk about customer service! I bought a Lyman turbo pro that arrived with a broken fan blade. I contacted Lyman who said to send it postage paid to the factory. After they inspected it and determined that I in fact did not break the blade, they would ship another one to me within six weeks. I'll never buy Lyman products again unless it's my only option. Just my 2c's.....
