Walther P99 AS and Winchester Ranger +P+
I need to know can I safely fire Winchester Ranger 9mm 127gr T-Series +P+ through my new Walther P99 AS?
The manual gives dire warnings about using +P+ ammo.... Mel |

I still don't get the need for all those pluses and P's. Something like the Rem Golden Saber, Speer Gold Dot, Fed Hydrashocks in 124gr is compatable with ball training ammo and will sufficiently hand the job at hand and won't pre-maturely send firearms to the parts piles.
But yeah, if the manual says "Don't" then I always try to "don't" to the best of my ability.

Many thanks!
I had the feeling that I shouldn't, but the heavy slide and barrel of the Walther P99 made me think abit. I saw that the rounds were being used by Feds and NYPD and you know they aren't carrying any heavy weight firearms.
Ah well, I loved the picture of these replacement "Talons" after they'd hit the water jug test. They peeled just like the "Black Talons' did. The prospect of only having to fire one round to totally incapacitate an attacker appealed to me. |

Try the Remington Golder Saber.
