Alliant Power Pistol or Accurate #7 for 9mm

Well for 7 years my trusty powder has been Win 231 for almost all pistol loads except 357 mag and 357 Sig.

Just finished up 500 rounds with 231 and I guess I feel a little adventurous since I have quite a bit of Power Pistol and a pound of #7 that I bought to try for the 357 Sig, I figure I would try one of them for my 9mm's.

The question is which one??? After reviewing all the load data from Alliant and Accurate as well as Lyman's 49th, I probable would feel more comfortable with Accurate #5, but that's not an option.

So, please shoot away and let me know what your experience has been with either. Still have over 500 more to load.

Thanks
Jim

I have to vote for Power Pistol. I have used it in 9mm and in .40 S&W. Great powder for those two in my experience. I loaded some .357 with it but have not been able to use it.

I should know how it is by Saturday how ever...Can't comment on the other powder you mentioned. Never tried it. Sorry.

1st Power Pistol,2nd Power Pistol.3rd Power Pistol. For some reason it works perfect for 9mm with plated or Jacketed bullets.AA#7 will probably work good also especially for lead. You should try AA#9 for 357Sig,I have yet to find another powder that is as inherently accurate as that powder.

Power Pistol and #7 are both near perfect for 9MM, you can't go wrong.

Power Pistol has been a perfect 9mm choice since it was offered.
