Looking for some grips

I want to change out the grips on my SW M&P Airweight j-frame .38+p matte black revolver. I am looking for some darker wood, perhaps cherry.

I also want to change out the monster rubber Hogue grips on my 4' S&W .500
I know the hand is gonna pay for it, but I want some nice light wood to go with the mirror polished finish which I am planning to do with Mothers Polish and elbow grease as I have seen here on TFL.

Never bought after market grips for any of my guns.

Any particular recommendations that you guy's buy from?

I'm not sure, and the gun doesn't have it on itself, whether or not the .38 is a 642 or a 642 Deluxe. I am not sure if that would effect grip dimensions?

It is this, but matt black instead of SS (something along the lines of these grips would actually work).

Here is the .500

X-large Frame "S&W500" 4inch.

And I must thank you for getting me up off my lazy butt and adding things to my site. I already checked they are in stock and I'm trying to find more of a selection.

The one for the 500 has 500 listed with the various models, but says for K & L frames? I thought it is an X-frame?

Pardon my greenhorn knowledge.

J-frame one is very nice, but i'd like a little darker, more cherry/red.

Appreciate the help!!

Hogue, Craig Spegel of OR....

For good wood DA revolver grips, I'd check the main Hogue grips website or maybe check www.CraigSpegel.com .
Spegel is popular with many armed citizens & "armed professionals"(cops, federal agents, EP specialists, PIs, etc) for his Boot Grips.

I like the newer CT lasergrips for the Smith and Wesson J frame revolvers(649, 442, 637, etc).
If you like wood grips & want a compact style check out the Craig Spegel line.
