Define hi-cap. How many rounds are you looking for?

hicap

You can make bout any shotgun you have a hi cap in shotgun terms... you can get magazine tube extentions up to 10 rounds. I have a 1100 with a 7 round for deer season and a 10 round if i feel like carrying the extra weight for pheasent season which i usually don't. Why you wnat a hicap anyways?

ford_shooter-why wouldn't you want hi-cap? I like the idea of being able to hold more rounds with less reloading.

A while back some 3 gunners employed 1000s with 28" barrels and 10 rounds mag extensions. The only one I saw used very well was owned and operated by a behemoth of some 300 lbs and a couple fathoms tall.

Can you say, "Nose Heavy, boys ands girls"?....

My two "Serious" 870s have extensions, one a two shot and one a three. If I was to do it over they'd both have twos.

If 6 or 7 rounds fail to resolve a crisis, 10 probably won't do it either.

In that case there are dozens of semi-auto shotguns that are high cap or can be made so at under a grand.

I like my 7 shot 11-87 myself.

6, 7, 8, 10 rounds for deer? Are you going after the herd? Here in Ohio we can only have 3 shots total for deer season. I tend to think the high capacity guns for hunting can make one take too many risks, meaning they figure they have all these extra shots, even with a high capacity gun you should still aim for a one shot kill, or atleast a clean kill, you dont wanna riddle the thing full of holes or wound the poor animal.

saiga s12's, you can get 5 round box mags, or 8 round box mags. quicker to reload as well. just like the ak 47 that they essentially are. american mags are almost ready for sale as well, some up to 10 rounds.
