lee turret storage question

This question goes out to all of thoes guys that have load masters and 4 hole turret presses that are used to load for multiple calibers? how in the heck do you all store all of you spare turrets? I just can't seem to figure this one out. You just can't leave them sitting around on the decapping pin and wobbling around the bench. I have 3 LM turrets and 5 of the 4 hole turrets so far and can't seem to figgure this out. What's ya'lls secret? Is there some magical storage device out there for your turrets or do they all just wobble and flop around?

The magic formula is to store them in the plastic case the dies came in. In mine, the turret will fit exactly into the plastic case. willr

Only the round die boxes can be used for turret storage for the turret presses. If you have the DeLuxe Pistol die sets you have flat boxes. Bummer.--

But you can order the round boxes for a couple bucks apiece--try Kempf's or any other online supplier--

For the Load Master turrets, I invested $35 and bought this stand from a company in Ashland, WI--

Well worth the price. Many of you handy, creative guys could come up with something made out of old sheet metal, plywood, plastic or whatever; I'm too much of a klutz with tools to do it.

I don't know about Lee stuff but maybe you can do something like I do for my Dillon heads. I put 'em on pegboard hangers. See attached...

ECLIPSE45ACP,

I have several 4-hole-turrets for my Classic Turret Press...don't know if my turrets are the same size as those used in the Load Master, but they DO FIT, with 4 dies installed in each turret, in the red plastic cylindrical Lee dies case said dies came in.

The Turret press turrets will fit in the die box the loadmaster turret will not. I built a special shelf to put my LM turrets on. I drilled holes in the same pattern as the dies so the dies go into the holes and the turret sets flat the shelf is thick enough that the dies don;t extend past it then that shelf sits on a shelf in the cabinet that holds all my reloading supplies.

I don't want my dies out in the open air; my shop's not conducive to that. I just put the turret (I use a Dillon 650, same principle) into a quart Ziploc bag labeled with the caliber, then put it with the others in a plastic tub. Works.

I use them for my turrets all you got to do is turn the bottom upside down and the turret with the 4 dies will fit perfect. they're about 2 bucks a piece at midwayusa

I took several sections of 2x4 and drilled wholes for wooden dowels the same size as the bottom hole of the turrets, glued them in the board put the turret on top and store them in a wood cabinet. Now if you store your powder measures also there might be a height problem. I have 4 measures that I seldom touch for 38super, 45lc, 38sp and 9mm.

Best wishes, Bill

two pieces of 1X12 glued together and holes drilled to match the dies. I put the assembly on a shelf in a cabinet. Measure your cabinet first and use a board that will fit on shelf or other storage place.

Here's how I do it.
I just finished this reloading bench and I made adjustable shelves. Two of the shelves have 3" holes cut in them to hold the turrets. Don't try this freehand, get a 3" holesaw.

ScottsGT. That is really cool. When are you going to start full production?
And have you set a price, yet?

Hey, I'll be glad to sell you a board or two with the 3" holes cut in it, but don't ask for anything beyond that!! That was about a month of free time on the weekends building that, and the lower half of the cabinet was an old bench that I cut in half.
Here's one of the cool parts I didn't show. My tumbler set up. It's on a timer and a pull out drawer. I can close the cabinet for a quiet run.
