As she points around to all my Farmall tractors spread out around the place. Nooooooo!!! Absolutely not.... Yea right.... I went from this: To this mess: Continued............... |

Slippery slope ain't it. Another guy who, perhaps, likes to reload as much as he likes to shoot.
What's that purple thing next to the Clementines box... the Pope's hat? C

Some type of tourist-trade Native American ritual object reproduction? You use the presses. You don't actually use all of the tractors, do you? Oh, and don't forget to order another bottle of Liquid Alox.

nah that some Indian doll of my wifes. This space was used as her scrap booking room. I have taken it over little by little. As soon as I need that spot that doll will be moved some where.

My next want is a used Load Master or a Pro 1000 some one hates.
After trying all these different presses I have come to find out. None does every thing perfect. Each one does some thing better than the others. All that does is make me want to try a different one. See what it does well and if I can get it running better. |

Can you tell I have spent a lot of energy convincing my self I am saving? As far as buying used presses. I can say for sure that they will never be worth less than I paid for them. Unless I wear them out. That's unlikely. So they are just a place to store money and the interest is my enjoyment of their use. See how this works??? I have used the same logic to buy guns and tractor. As for saving money reloading. Lets see before reloading I shot about 5 boxes of ammo a year. maybe..... SO now I shoot 5000 + rounds a year. You can not compare that. If not reloading I would not shoot as much. akkkkkkkk made my head hurt. |

So what's the problem? You have plenty time to buy some additional presses.

My first press was a used RCBS Jr. Press from '67. My second press was a Lee Pro 1000 for reloading 223 in bulk. I'm already planning on getting a Lee Classic Turret press to handle the "in betweener" jobs needed for things I like to shoot, but don't shoot high volume such as 8x57, 6.5x55 and 30-06.
I can stop at 3 right? Jimro

"My name is COZ and I reload."
The group responds, "Hello COZ!" Group moderator, "Welcome to the group COZ. We use a five stage recovery program, err....I meant five step recovery program ..."

I can't say I did get all the presses that you have gotten. Instead I have lots of components and ammo ready to shoot. This reminds me it is time to order more primers and maybe some more powder. If I do order those things, I need to get more bullets to go with them. I will need more empty cases too so I guess I better shoot a lot of ammo to get the cases. It seems to never end. I know I don't have a problem so you probably don't have one either.
I probably will load close to 4000 rounds between now and the end of the year. |

You know components NEVER seem to come out even, do they?

Jmorris; Lets see--- left to right under bench.Lyman turret-spar-T? Powder measure stand. SDB dillon. Die set for the 366 hornady that's on top, alongside that is another powder measure for the 366. In back, a 600 JR mec. On top another dillon SDB. Then a Hornady 366. In the corner is a dillon primer tube filler. Then it looks like 2 dillon 650's without case feeders. then there's the dillon super 1050! How did I do? I'd take a pic of my--------mess, but you'd all think "how the heck can he load anything in that portrait of confusion? The old adage of ten pounds of ---- in a 5 pound bag!

Close, two 366 presses, just can't fit under the bench with shot and powder measure in place.
Don't feel bad about a bench in disarray. This was mine before I built the one above. Side out rotate as your needs change. |

I feel inadequate. Very impressive, all of this. My ultimate set-up is a Lee Precision Classic Cast and a Lee Precision Classic Turret, and "tools" to roll crimp shot shells with slugs and buckshot. For me this is like looking at really nice cars/trucks/tractors. I like looking. Thanks
