Stainless Wheels
So, here I have the 686-3, 66-1, Security Six, Dan Wesson, and the Python. Incoming is a Taurus 689. Yes, I know I need a King Cobra as well.

I try to. I'll be taking the Dan Wesson and the Python out Friday for some fun.

If I didn't know any better I'd think you like stainless guns.

Yeah, six inch stainless .357's are a thang for me. Not sure exactly why. I need to get a King Cobra, and maybe even a Rossi. What else am I missing?

Nice
Nice revolvers bro. I'm diggin' the stainless as well. I've attached some pics of my Ruger New Vaquero. First stainless of many.
Also, I have a Dan Wesson in .44mag. Smoothest 44 I've shot. Good show!

Skip the Taurus and get a GP100.

The Taurus 689 is on the way. I will most likely get a GP 100 as well. I'll pass on all of the "cowboy" style guns. They just don't do it for me.

Very nice accumulation. You have excellent taste in revolvers. But it seems to me that you need at least one 4" barrel.

I agree with others. Get more Rugers.

A much coveted .357 Redhawk would be a nice addition!

I didn't even know they ever built a .357 Redhawk.

Well, if you have the bucks to spend then a nice Freedom Arms Model 83 or the smaller frame Model 97 would be sweet, after you finished with the Rugers of course.

I'd make muttering noises about boys and their toys, but I know a few women who collect guns this obsessively too. Sheesh, how many guns can one person shoot? ;P

For some reason I can't use a "quote function" here, maybe I'm not senior enough. But regarding Freedom Arms, I just don't care for the single action, or cowboy style guns. They just don't do it for me.

zilmo, quotes on this board are a little different. unless there is a better way I copy the quote, then on the reply box you hit the quote icon and paste your copied quote in between. problem is it doesn't give credit to the "quoter". I hear you on the cowboy guns. that single action is not for me. even with semis I prefer the DA. those are some really nice guns and the 6 inch barrel is very nice. you do need at least one 4 inch for home defense. got back from the range earlier with my 4 inch 586(blue of course). but for home defense I think you could use a 4 inch gp100. held one before leaving the range. they really seem like nice guns, great feel. |

A 627. No collection of .357s is complete without an N frame.
