Any cheek piece shortcuts out there?

I have a cheek piece I want to put on and have not come up with any thing better than "drink lots of beer and force it on, after about a hour of sweating above the cheek rest you sweat will help slide it on" there has got to be another short cut out there. Any suggestions?

Are you asking about the sleeve that slides onto the stock? If it is, the easiest way is to remove the stock from the action and slide the sleeve on from the smaller end.
