New gun

I have just inherited a shot gun. There are no external id's other than the name " F A Loomis ". I know only that it is at least 40 years old. How do I determine its manufactuerer, model, age and value?

SxS, O/U, pump action??? More info needed. Maybe put it in Harley Nolden's section on further down the page. Seems to me Iv'e heard that name on a gun before. Do a search on the forum.
