i want a build kit carbine

i've seen a few build kits online but have never done anything like it before.i'm skilled with my hands and am excellet with welding grinding and use of dremel tools.i can borrow some tools but nothing a gun smith would have like a specialty type tool.what would be a good kit for someone like me?i want some kind of 9mm carbine or possibly 223 type gun with a clip.i just think it would be very cool to make and own a gun like that.i don't have an ffl but a clean record and live in pa. i suppose i could get a deeler to order some parts but they will charge me a percentage i'm sure.money is a factor to a point.i mean i would hope to save some money by building it myself.ty for reading.paul

also i would concider other calibers but not 308 nato cause of cost of ammo.also,i'm not looking for an ar,if i wanna fork out the money thats a no brainer
