Remington model 14 1/2
Was wondering if anyone knows much about these guns. I have one in a .38-.40 caliber. I took it to the local fun store to have checked out because I have had it for about 15 years since my grandpa passed away and never shot it. While there I had three people give me their numbers if I was interested in selling. Any idea what this gun may be worth? Don't think I would ever sell it, it means a lot to me... Just curious. Thanks

Blue Book says $575 to $4550 depending on the exact version and condition.
22" 60% to 18" 100% with "thumbnail safety." |

.
Welcome to the forum, wurmie ! "Condition" rules, and FWIW doesn't mean "good" or "good considering it's age". "Condition" refers to the remaining amount, expressed as a %, of the original factory finishes on both wood & metal surfaces, the condition of the bore, and the mechanical operating condition, including any issues with rust, corrosion, mold, dents, scratches, cracks, and/or alterations like D/T'd for scope mounts, shortened stocks & recoil pads, etc, etc, etc. IOW, value is based on originality. . |
