new to the site with a question

hi all. new to the site, and thinking about purchasing a gun. it's a private deal for a sig 239 with the .357 barrel and 1 clip AND the .40 cal barrel with 2 clip's, plus a custom wood hand grip. he's selling everything for 650. #1, i had my mind set on a CZ75 SP-01, so is the sig comparable? (just seems to be a great deal) #2, the only other gun i've owned was a ruger P90. hated the feel of it (very heavy and innacurate) BUT i've shot the CZ75 SP-01, a berretta 9mm, and a glock G26 and G27. how does the sig compare to these guns? and #3, is 650 a good deal for everything?

I appreciate any and all thoughts. thanks guys

I have shot almost every single one of the guns you posted, and I ended up with a Sig P239 9mm with night sights.
I have read that many air marshalls carry that exact pistol. Awesome accuracy as long as you practice with it.

Easy to conceal if you needed it to be concealed.

I have glocks and have nothing but good things to say.

The single action on the P239 is awesome. Also it weighs less than the CZ I believe, but also weighs more than the Glock.

I've owned CZ pistols and sold them. If given a choice between one or a SIG, I'd always go SIG if in comparible conditions.

The magazines are interchangable for both calibers, .40 & .357sig use the same magazine. Go with the Sig it's much better.l

Welcome to TFL, dukfan!

$650 for a P239, 3 mags (not clips ), and additional barrel is a good deal, IMO -- if the gun and barrels are in good condition. Ask about round count and whether there have been other owners -- not sure you'll get a straight answer, but it never hurts to ask. Sounds almost too good to be true...
