RCBS Uniflow + Power Pistol = gooey residue?

I had left some power pistol powder left in my RCBS uniflo for about 3 weeks now.. As I was pouring out the powder I noticed a whole lot of the powder was stuck the the plastic, as I looked inside it was stuck to the metal part at the bottom too. So naturally I started scraping it away, and there's STILL residue where the powder was.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Is there an easy way to take care of it?

Don't know about a Uniflow, but my old C&H powder measure hoppers are yellow distorted from where the previous owner left Bullseye powder in it and the nitroglycerin attacked the plastic.

Do you feel this effects the powder flowing through your measure at all?

It seems the goo left can be loosened up a little with powder solvent, but not very much.. I think I'm going to end up buying another unit.

No, it just looks really ugly. (if it affected the measurements I could buy a new hopper, but I'm too cheap to buy one just to fix ugly)

Yes, The nitro in the powder attacked the plastic. Call RCBS, tell them what happened and they will send you another plastic tube (green thing).

Now don't leave PP in the measure overnight or longer then it has to. It will eat it as you have seen.
