TFL down for 2 days or so?

Am I the only one who is just now (4/5/02 at 11:30pm) able to access TFL?
Was the site accessible to anyone else during that time?
If not, what happened?
Just curious.

I couldn't get the site all day yesterday or today until about 8:15pm west coast time. Pages are also loading very slowly.

Down from approx. 2:00am Thurs pst till this evening. Got so excited when tfl was reinstored that I must have botched the re-registration. Lost original ID. Also noticed lack of official explanation from tfl. Made me feel that I was experiencing a singular event.

Yesterday, TFL was gone from any DNS records, so it might have been a DNS problem in the end. Your comment, Rich?

Rich hasn't been to the Staff lounge either, from what I can tell. He may no be online right now, which would explain why there was such a delay coming back, too.

In other words, I haven't talked to anybody who knows what happened, when, or why. Does that help?

Hank is being exceptionally ESPish tonight. Wrong continent, but the concept is correct.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Rich doesn't yet know of the outage or, if he did learn of it, the final fix for it.

"Been on the road hunting for a week. Downloaded 400 emails at the airport and am going thru them at 11,000 ft over E. TX. Will send all at Louisiana fuel stop but can do nothing until tonight.
Rich"

The Man is on his way! I told him that all of you guys got it fixed!
I'll bet that the throttle stops are bent.

Don't Pay The Ransom!!!!

I'm back!!

I've been off to Thunder Ranch for Team Tactics with partner Denny Hansen and hog hunting with Ashley. Denny and I seemed to work so well together that I'm considering a marriage proposal!

Had very limited cell contact and no computer hookup.....therefore, I share neither blame nor credit for the problem or resolution. I, too, suspect DNS problems. Temporary.

Sam,

Does that mean you've always been "in continent"?
