A trailer to the 9mm practice thread

My first 100rnds through my Beretta Cx4 were the PMC 115grn FMJ that I got for the range. I was satisfied with the operation of this brand. In resupplying for the range I bought 300rnds of what is labeled Independence(brand) I was told at the shop they are factory loads made by federal. They were relatively inexpensive ($9.00 for 50rnds, 115grn FMJ). I am sure we are all wanting to be a little budget minded when it comes to practice ammo without getting stuck with crap. Anyone familiar with these at all? As for the 6" drop off, hell no, at least not at the 25yrd mark i was hitting. I would have to say he was over compensating in a big way.

I guess I will find out the quality this monday.

Chris VA,

thanks for the reply...i thought this thread wad dead by now.
I have tried the white box and found them to leave me with much more cleaning to be done than other brands I have tried. Right now I using Speer and Federal ball rounds for the range and the 135grn Federal HydraShocks for the house.
