Newbie AR build ?

Not really ever been drawn to AR's but thought id finally try one..
Compact and light weight are my draws to one.

Will these 3 parts listed below make a complete AR other than sights ?

I've ordered two lower build kits, a premium stainless mid length barreled upper, a scope and several other small parts. I've been very pleased with PSA products and service. I subscribe to their email notifications and usually buy items listed on their "daily deals" or on clearance. If you are patient, you can build a decent AR at a fair price.

I do agree with Rickyrick; expect to wait two to three weeks for delivery.

You'll also need a rear sight or an optic of some sort.

Edit: Derp. Reading comprehension. Carry on then!

I will say that the Freedom line isn't as nice as the PSA Premium line. If you can pony up the extra money, then you'll get a nicer rifle. The Freedom line does make a great budget starter rifle though.

I might suggest this one though: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index...category/4220/

Includes BCG and charging handle, and has mid-length gas which is more desirable. Most importantly, it's in stock.

They are worth the wait though...

It's not an issue if you are prepared

With the exception of mags, those parts will add up to a good quality functioning rifle.

Anderson lowers are greAt, I have two. Never tried an upper tho.

You can also get blemished aero precision uppers for a steal on the right day
