Alright, I have a Hornady Magnetic scale. I can't get it to zero when the bars are zeroed. How do I zero it??? Wth the bars all on zero, the pointer hovers at about +2.

Guess what? Those Hornady guys are smarter than I! There's a screw at the far left of the base...guess what it's for? It wasn't listed on the "instruction" paper, but I now know. It's a calibration screw. After setting all weights to "0" screwing in or out that screw will move the pointer up or down. Sheesh, I love engineers! Got it working now, just weighed a bullet -- ergh...349.5 grains. They cheated me a half grain of lead! I'll have fun this afternoon weight-sorting my bullets -- good practice too. Thanks for the clue-in SKR!!

You beat me to the draw. i was going to ask if they left the leveling screw off.

Don't start weighing your bullets or you will be very disappointed in all of them. Small differences in weight is just one of those things that doesn't seem to make any difference in performance.
