My EDC is a Kahr PM9, and it's in my pocket whenever I leave my peaceful little Texas town ... but for walking the dog, running down to the market or when I'm home during the day (retirement is a wonderful thing!) I slip an NAA Pug, in a fabric holster, into my pocket ... loaded with Hornady's new 45gr Critical Defense round, it's so light I don't know it's there, and it gives me a go-to gun instantly if I can't get to the 1911 stashed in my living room ... crime is almost non-existant here, at least the kind that requires a gun in response; the in-town .22 is mostly for skunks or rattlers that might cause me and my beagle trouble ...

I don't often pocket carry any more, but when I do, it is the same pistol I pocket carried every day for 3 1/2 years...Kahr PM9.

A good belt does wonders for keeping one's pants where they should be even when there's an all-steel gun in them.
Good belt or no, I'd think they would print badly......

I have no pants in my wardrobe that would hide a steel j-frame sized gun ....

Just curious what you are all wearing for pants .....

Model 36-1 J Frame .38 Spc. in a Mika holster. Doesn't print much at all.

LCP in a Bearcreek Pocket Holster - does not print.

The tried and true FN/Browning 1910 .380. No sights, hammers, sharp corners, or odd contours to snag on your pocket on the way out.

J-frames are perfefect for pocket carry. its like thats what they were designed for.

I wear looser-fitting trousers, cargo-style or slacks (usually pleated). i think I will look at some 'relaxed fit' jeans when the weather cools back down.

I pocket carry in a Remora holster either a 9mm Walther PPS (6 shot mag), or else a .357 Ruger LCR.

I bought new pants a couple years ago specifically to facilitate carry; I made sure they were all pleated and relaxed fit in style. Combined with a horsehide gunbelt, neither pistol noticeably prints.

I rarely pocket carry these days but on the occasion I do, I use my normal my EDC in a no name pocket holsters. I have an example of most if the big name pocket holsters but this one works the best.

Right now it is a 38 special Taurus 851UL. Other times it may be a Charter 44 special or finally a Keltek P3AT. There are others when not in the pocket.

I can't pocket carry my 642 with any of my current jeans. The pockets are too short and the grip is exposed. The next time I go jeans shopping (which may be the next decade for as much clothes shopping as I do), I'll look for jeans with deeper pockets.

Move over Elsie!!! I just got the KAHR CM9 that I won the bid on at the NRA Foundation Banquet, and I think it might just take Elsie's place. After I get the break in recommended by KAHR completed Most of the time at least. Still may need deep concealment at times, so Elsie shouldn't feel too put out!
I first thought about a Crossbreed Mini-Tuk, but I just ordered a DeSantis Nemesis like I have for Elsie to try the KAHR in the pocket carry instead.
