Replace front sight on Makarov?
Has anyone here ever ground off the front sight and replaced it with a bigger one? New sight would either be glued on or machine work done on slide to put on a new sight depending on what kind was bought. Or, as dumb as this sounds, leave original sight on and mound some JB Weld on it and file it to size that can actually be seen by 62 yr old eyes with tri-focales. Any suggestions, even funny, are appreciated as always. Thanks guys.

"MAK" SIGHTS
Contact the folks @ "novak's sights" in parkersburg, w.va. They are well qualified to assist you with this problem. Have used them many times since the mid-1990's. They do excellent work & the t/a time is usually < 10 days.

sights
Sir;
Yes, I've put Novak lo-moun night sights on my makarov and it worked great. I only use a .060 dovetail on the front! Harry B. |
