Arminius ARM .357

My friend has gotten what he thinks is a deal on a used Arminius ARM .357 single action revolver. It is missing the cylinder latch and spring.

I searched all my usual sites for parts and came up with nothing for this model.

I have a feeling his "deal" might be a loss.

Does anyone know if parts for this model are available, or will he end up having a smith make a part?

A general idea of what that would cost might help him some.

Thanks!

Also search on "Weihrauch" or "Hermann Weihrauch".

Arminius revolvers were never a quality firearm, but better than some. They were imported until the 1970s, if I am not mistaken. I doubt you will find a spare cylinder just sitting around anywhere. I would advise your friend to pass on this deal.

Good guns when they're working. Let it go unless you can get it for 25 bucks or so and don't mind looking for parts for a few years.
